3.2 Subsea Repair Joint

 

Repair Joint for Submarine Cable 33kV and 115kV

A repair joint is a joint between cable lengths that have been armoured. Generally used in repairing
a damaged submarine cable or jointing two delivery lengths offshore. The repair joint shall meet
the same design life of the remaining cable system, often have a robust structure to protection.

insulated, lead sheath, semi conducting polyethylene sheath, armour and polypropylene yam
serving with optical fiber cable.
 
 

Our Story

The repair joints shall be designed for jointing of submarine power cables, maintaining the mechanical, optical and electrical properties of the cable. The watertight outer housing provides the mechanical strength and protection.

Service life of cable accessories should not be less than 30 years.
